Hi there
Teenage spots may be a part of growing up, but acne is something else - it's bound to affect your confidence and can attract teasing and name calling. Bad news.
First of all, tackle the acne. See your doctor and ask for help - he/she can suggest medication which really will work, and once you've made a start on this you'll feel more hopeful. Next, work on ways of letting the teasing wash right over you; imagine it's rain, annoying but harmless, and stand tall and let it run right off you. Much better than rising to the bait and getting drawn into a fight - and not half so satisfying for the bully, who will often give up trying to needle you. Shrug off unwanted comments or blank them completely, as if you can't hear them... and refuse to let them dent your confidence.
You can beat this, I promise... make that doctor's appointment now. Good luck.
Take care,
Cathy Cassidy
