Friday 3rd February – Hi everyone, thank you for your letters this past week. I just wanted to let you know that I read every single letter that you send to me, even if I'm not able to answer them all. I've published a few of your letters on this page - if you can't see your letter here, try looking in the section which you wrote it in. I try and respond to as many of your letters as possible.
I’ve had a lot of letters from you about problems with your family. Sometimes you can feel hopeless and think things will never change. I just want to say that ChildLine is always there for you and can help you think about ways you might be able to cope with problems in your family. This week’s theme is, ‘families and coping in difficult times’. If you're having a hard time with your parents, step-parents or brothers and sisters, I’d love to hear from you.
Keep sending me your letters about any issue that you are worried about, and I will do my best to help. I can't answer every letter, but please do have a look at the letters and replies about other issues and worries you have, as these can sometimes help.
Remember not to post any personal details like your full name, school or email address in your letter, as these could identify you.
