Welcome to peer support

Peer support is a scheme run by CHIPS which helps pupils make each other feel safe and supported. This can help with many issues that children and young people may face during their time at school.

As a peer supporter you can help and support others' work through their problems at school or at home. Therefore there are a few things that you will need to do to make sure peer support works for your school.

With many now being bullied through emails and text messages find out more about cyber bullying, and find out about some of the issues you could help with: bullying, self harm, drugs and alcohol, falling out with friends and peer pressure, problems at home, bereavement, sex, relationships, eating disorders, exam stress, internet safety,or what is abuse
