My ideal society

If you could make society a better place to live in, what would you do? The government would like to hear your views and help you have your say. Get involved and express yourself with the creative tool and show us what you would like to see for yourself and other young people in the UK.

Draw your ideal society with the Creative tool

In May, one of the hot topics on the message boards was posting your questions for the Minister of Children and families Tim Loughton. We asked you how you felt about cuts to youth services, future job prospects and what the government can do to give young people a voice.

Thank you for posting in your comments. The feedback was extremely helpful and it seems to be a topic that many of you feel very strongly about.

You now have the chance continue to tell the government what you think, but this time, using your creative talents!

What do I need to create?

Using the creative tool, draw an ideal place in the UK, where all young people are happy and safe.

Imagine:
• What would this place have?
• What services would it provide?
• Who would be living there and running it?
• What would it need, to make sure you were safe and happy?

How do I submit my entry?

The deadline for entries has now closed. Thank you to everyone who took part. We will provide you with feedback from the Department for Education and let you know if your drawings have been chosen.

How will I make a difference?

We will be selecting some of the most creative drawings and messages and sending them to the Department for Education where it will become part of the Positive for Youth collection of ideas from young people.

By collecting the views of young people, the government hope to make our society better by listening to what you have to say.

You can check out some of the other ideas and what young people have said, read articles and watch videos on the Positive for Youth website.
