What is the locker?
The locker is your place. This is where you can contact ChildLine by email and where replies to your emails are kept. These can be found in your personal inbox which is called ChildLine email.
How do I find my locker?
You can find a link to your locker on the right hand side of the navigation bar with a picture of a padlock. When you have signed up and logged into your ChildLine account, you can select this button to go to your locker. The button appears on nearly every page on the website so you can get to it wherever you are.
What does my locker look like?
You can change the way your locker looks by choosing a new background theme. You can also choose to add or hide sections in your locker so you can change the way it looks.
What can I keep in my locker?
When you have created a picture using the creative tool, you can keep it in your locker. You can keep several pictures in your locker at one time and go into look at them when you want to.
When you have saved pictures you have created into your locker, you can then choose to share them with other people in the public galleries. You can also share these with ChildLine counsellors during a 1-2-1 chat or by attaching them to a ChildLine email.
Because ChildLine is here to keep you safe, all images that that are saved in your locker will be looked at by ChildLine moderators once they are saved and before they are published in the public gallery (if you’ve chosen to share them). If you have anything in your locker that makes us worried about your immediate safety, or other children's safety, then ChildLine will send you an email asking you to think about talking to a ChildLine counsellor.
What else can I do in my locker?
You locker includes the Mood Tracker tool which lets you record how you are feeling every day. You can look back and see how you have felt over the last few days, weeks or months.
