The pressure of exams can make you anxious
Anxiety can sometimes make you feel tired, upset, worried, shaky, light-headed, frustrated or feeling like you might ‘go crazy’. It can also present itself as a panic attack, or make you feel like you might be sick.
Anxiety or stress can be a result of something specific (like writing exams) or you could be feeling stressed for no specific reason, which is normal and okay too.
Talking about stress can help you to cope
It can seem scary at first to talk about stress or anxiety, as you might feel like nobody else is feeling this way or would understand. This often makes the stress worse.
If you think you might be experiencing anxiety or stress, talking about it with someone you trust can be the next step. Talking about how you are feeling can reduce the pressure and help you to feel more in control.
