Safer Internet Day is organised by Insafe each year in February to promote staying safe online and what you can do to make sure that you stay safe when using the internet. The topic for 2010 is "Think B4 U post!".

In 2009 Safer Internet Day was celebrated through 500 events in 50 countries all over the world.

Social Networking sites, like Facebook, MySpace and Bebo, are websites where you can create a profile all about yourself and send messages to other people. It's important to know how to stay safe online and what to do if someone is nasty to you.
